Are open source operating systems really open? How would blocking an operating system to a particular brand affect the creative work done by using the equipment of that brand? Dinil Abeygunawardane, Hemantha Arunasiri, Piyadasa Ratnasinghe and Deshan Karunarathna of our faculty get into a discussion about the recent restrictions on Huawei by Google. The panel also introduces the Documentary Magnum Photographer David Seymour and gets into a discussion with Mr Chamminda Welagedara about how the expression of a creative work changes from one platform to the other based on his novel which was made into a movie and teledrama.
